Silly Putty is a staple in many households that have kids. This gooey toy is similar to rubber and can be stretched and pulled for hours of fun. Instructions
1. Pour #xBD; cup liquid starch in a bowl. If you want a large amount of putty, then add as much liquid starch as you desire.
2. Add 1 cup of Elmer's glue or double the amount of liquid starch that you have in your bowl.
3. Add several drops of glow-in-the-dark paint to the bowl.
4. Mix the ingredients together with your hands until the mixture becomes very stretchy and difficult to tear apart when you pull it.
5. Store the putty in a plastic container with a lid after your kids are done playing with it. Place the plastic container in the refrigerator. Or store the putty in an airtight plastic bag. Play putty has a shelf life of about a month if your kids play with it on a weekly basis, but it may last longer if it's not used as frequently. However, it may last only a few weeks if your kids play with it every day.
