Fundraiser Ideas For A Graduation Project

Fundraising is a great way to earn money for a graduation project. People will be eager to help seniors make their graduation project a success. To make sure that your graduation project is attainable, it is important to properly plan and execute your fundraising. There are many creative ways to get the community's support and earn money for a graduation project.

Product Selling

Many websites offer a program where you sell their product and make a profit. Popular items include candy bars, cookie dough or kringles. The website, www.efundraising.com, has many great products that your organization can sell to earn a profit. Candy bars are always a hit and will earn your organization 60 percent of the profit. To take advantage of this program, products can be pre-ordered and then sold to friends, family and community members. This is an inexpensive and easy way to earn money for your project.

Car wash

Car washes are a traditional fund raiser that are usually very successful. To make your car wash a hit, choose a place to hold the car wash that can accommodate cars and traffic. If your school has a large enough parking lot, that is an ideal spot to hold a car wash. Next, designate a team to organize the event. Things that need to be accomplished before the car wash include advertising; acquiring hoses, buckets, soap and sponges; and obtaining a cash box. On the big day, a few students can stand on safe corners with signs advertising the car wash. Make the car wash cost a set amount or suggest a donation.

Restaurant Fundraiser

Many restaurants participate in fundraising nights for certain organizations. To utilize this wonderful service, have a team of students go to several restaurants to find out if they are participating in the program and if they would be willing to sponsor your organization for a night. Usually, restaurants will designate one day or night for your group; a percentage of the profits made during your designated time will be donated to your organization. To make this fundraiser a success, be sure to advertise around town to get a large turnout. When the fundraiser is completed, it is very thoughtful to send a thank you card to the restaurant manager for their donation.
