Many families gather annually to celebrate their heritage during a family reunion. They celebrate with games, lots of photos and sometimes a long list of activities. If you are in charge of planning your family's reunion events this year, you may be overwhelmed with the constant communication with family members across state lines. Centralize event information by creating a free website for your family reunion. Then, guests can log on to RSVP, pay event fees, or ask questions as needed.
Instructions
1. Select a free web page with a variety of event planning tools such as Eventbrite.
2. Create a new account. Decide on a URL name for your family reunion. The URL is the web address family members will use when visiting the web page.
3. Enter in the itinerary information for your family reunion, including dates, times, addresses and contact information for each venue.
4. Add travel information such as links to car rental companies with group discounts, airline carriers, and driving directions to your reunion destination.
5. Set pricing for all event fees and insert them onto the main page with the option to pay using a third-party merchant service such as PayPal or AlertPay. If there is no charge to attend your reunion events, set up an option for guests to RSVP instead.
6. Save your web page entries and publish your web page to the Internet.

Send out an email to all invited guests informing them of the new website for the family reunion. Encourage them to visit the website for important announcements and updates.
