Make Homemade Buffalo Wings

Buffalo wings are excellent appetizers for casual company or make a good potluck dish. As with most prepared food, buying Buffalo wings from a supermarket or deli can get expensive. Additionally, you can't always rely on a fresh product that isn't loaded with additives and preservatives. You can control the ingredients when you make your homemade Buffalo wings and possibly create a signature marinade as you go. You can purchase chicken wings from the butcher and ask that they be cut for a Buffalo wing dish.

Instructions

1. In a large bowl or baking dish, combine the raw chicken wings and marinade ingredients. Make sure the chicken is covered completely by the marinade. Cover and place in the refrigerator.

2. Marinate the chicken overnight if possible. The wings should soak for a minimum of four hours in order for the flavors to sink into the meat.

3. Place the chicken wings into a baking dish and add enough marinade to fill the dish halfway. Cover tightly with foil.

4. Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes and remove the foil. Stir the wings to coat them with the marinade in the pan.

5. Return the pan to the oven and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until the wings have turned golden brown.
