Make Breakfast Bars Without Flour Gluten Or Eggs

If you love the convenience of breakfast bars but are following a special diet, you can make your own nutritious and satisfying version without flour, gluten or eggs. Almond flour is an excellent option for gluten free recipes of all kinds and works especially well in this recipe. Try using the following measurements, then experiment by changing the type of seeds, nuts and dried fruit you use to create different varieties.

Instructions

1. Try baking these bars in a muffin pan as a variation.

Grease an 8-inch square baking dish with oil and set it aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine the almond flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl, and the oil, honey and vanilla in a large bowl.

2. All types of nuts are delicious in homemade breakfast bars.

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. After the mixture is well blended, stir in the coconut flakes, nuts, seeds and dried fruit.

3. Set your kitchen timer for 20 minutes.

Press the mixture evenly into the greased baking dish and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

4. Cut your gluten free breakfast bars into eight 2-inch by 4-inch rectangles and store in an airtight container.
