Make A Spring Strawberry Spinach Salad

Strawberries sweeten a spring spinach salad.

This salad is the epitome of spring! Easy to make you can have it ready in fifteen minutes. Keep ingredients in the fridge until needed and they will be cold and ready to serve when you need them.

Instructions

1. Prepare your fresh baby spinach by washing it, if it has not been previously washed. Remove any leggy stems. Drain and dry in a dish towel before placing in your salad bowl.

2. Prepare your strawberries by washing and removing stems. Thinly slice the strawberries and add to the spinach in the salad bowl.

3. Make sure pecans or walnuts are broken in to pieces about the same size. Add pecans or walnuts to mixture in the salad bowl. If you like, you can add thin-sliced red onions to the salad at this point.

4. Toss ingredients with the poppy seed dressing. Add the dressing slowly; add only enough to cover all ingredients. Keep refrigerated and serve within 10 to 15 minutes. Enjoy immediately: This salad does not keep well.
