Bread Chicken Wings

Baked chicken wings make a great meal or appetizer.

Breaded chicken wings are a delicious snack for watching the football game. They make a great accompaniment to beer, making them a bar favorite. Breaded wings can be made at home as cheaply and quickly as you could pick them up at your neighborhood pub --- all without ever having to leave the comfort of your home.

Instructions

1. Prepare the chicken wings. Using a large knife or kitchen shears, cut the chicken wings into three sections and discard the wing tips. Set the wings aside.

2. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit for baking the wings once they are breaded. Grease a large rectangular baking pan with a thin coat of vegetable oil.

3. Combine the breadcrumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, paprika and basil in a large resealable bag. Shake to combine thoroughly.

4. Whisk eggs and water in a small bowl using a fork.

5. Dip the wing pieces into the egg mixture. Then, drop them into the bag with the breadcrumb mixture. Shake the bag to coat the wings. Remove the coated wings and place in the baking pan. Repeat until all wings are coated.

6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the wings are cooked through.
