Make Cold Spinach Dip

When planning a dinner party or other similar gathering, it is best to have the dishes planned out hours in advance to ensure all of the foods are properly prepared. Prior to the main course, you may wish to serve your guests a healthy dip for tortilla chips, vegetables, crackers and other assorted breads. There are several different types of spinach dip recipes, but the cold spinach dip is the quickest and most effective way to kick off your evening of culinary treats.

Instructions

1. Cut a medium-sized circle from the top of the loaf of bread, as you will be adding all of the ingredients once mixed. Continue hollowing out the bread until you have an adequate area for the mixture to be placed. Creating a spinach dip inside a bread bowl is a fun and edible way to serve this common appetizer.

2. Add the spinach to a medium-sized mixing bowl before adding anything else. Pour in the ingredients from the vegetable or dressing mix package. Mix these foods together until properly tossed.

3. Add the remaining ingredients to the mixed vegetables and spinach. Stir this combination thoroughly until the texture of the dip is consistent throughout the bowl.

4. Pour the mixed ingredients into the bread bowl until completely filled to the top. It is fine to overflow the hollow space in the bread with the mixture, as you may wish to cut up the pieces of bread for serving once all of the dipping items have been used.

5. Set the spinach dip mixture in a refrigerator for at least one hour to continue to chill. Select an appropriately sized serving dish to keep the spinach dip at a safe temperature.
