Freeze Dipped Strawberries

Chocolate-dipped strawberries

For many, chocolate-covered strawberries is an irresistible indulgence, especially with someone special. Typically, the strawberries are dipped about halfway in chocolate, then placed in the refrigerator to harden slightly. However, if you don't want to eat all the strawberries right away or you like the chocolate to be very hard, you can freeze them. Because strawberries do not freeze well, you need to dip the entire berry in chocolate to help protect it from the freezer air. You can dip them whole or slice up the strawberries before dipping.

Instructions

1. Place strawberries that have been freshly dipped in chocolate on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. The strawberries must be entirely covered in chocolate.

2. Place the baking sheet of strawberries in the freezer until the chocolate is fully set.

3. Remove from the freezer and place the chocolate-dipped strawberries in a freezer-safe plastic container, separating layers of strawberries with wax paper.
