Your pots and pans can look new if your take the time to clean them properly.
Certain foods can stick to the surface of your pots and pans if you do not remove them immediately. Such foods include eggs, pasta sauce and soups. These foods become even more difficult to remove if they are burnt onto your cookware. If you try to scrub these foods off without the proper preparation techniques, you run the risk of scraping your pots and pans and even ruining the Teflon on them. Instructions
1. Place dish soap inside the pot or pan that has the burnt/hardened food on it.
2. Run very hot water inside the pot or pan in a manner that will cause the soap to produce suds. This will also cause the soap to spread inside the pot or pan more evenly. Turn off the water when the pot or pan is full.
3. Let the hot water and soap sit for roughly fifteen minutes. This will allow the mix to loosen up the food particles.
4. Put on your dish gloves. This will prevent you from burning your hands when you later dip your hand inside the pot or pan filled with potentially hot water.
5. Use the most abrasive side of the dual sided sponge and start scrubbing the inside of the pot or pan. The hot water and soap should make the cleaning easier.
