Simple Coconut Rum Drinks

Coconut juice comes from inside of the coconut seed.

Coconut is one of the freshest and delightful seeds to consume. Coconut rum uses the milk and flesh of the coconut with rum, which is then left to ferment over time. Many alcoholic beverages use coconut rum to add a tropical twist. These drinks are often simple and easy to create using two or three ingredients in conjunction with the coconut rum. Serve for a celebration or after a long day of work.

Coco Bee Drink

The Coco Bee rum drink is a hot drink for a cold evening. The drink is a mixture of 1 oz. coconut rum, 1 tsp. honey and 1 cup of boiled water. Boil water in a pot. As the water is heating up, pour 1 oz. of coconut rum into a mug. Once the water has come to a boil, pour it into the mug along with the coconut rum. Then add 1 tsp. of honey to the drink and mix using a mixing stick.

Tropical Martini Drink

This drink consists of 2 oz. of amaretto almond liquor and 2 oz. of coconut rum served in a cocktail glass. Place both the amaretto almond liquor and coconut rum into the refrigerator to chill, while the cocktail glasses are in the freezer to chill as well. When the bottles and cocktail glass have chilled, pour the 2 oz. of amaretto almond liquor and the 2 oz. of coconut rum into the chilled cocktail glass. Stir with a stick to mix the ingredients evenly.

The Pink Slip Drink

The pink slip drink mixes 1 oz. cranberry juice, 1 oz. of coconut rum and champagne all in one glass. The coconut rum, cranberry juice and champagne go into the refrigerator to cool. 8 oz. serving glasses will serve for the drinks. After cooling, pour 1 oz. of coconut rum into the serving glass, followed by 1 oz. of cranberry juice. Fill the remaining 6 oz. of the glass with a champagne of choice and stir together.
