Make A Jabber Account For Mojo

Mojo lets you share your iTunes library and chat with your contacts.

Mojo is a peer-to-peer sharing service that lets you share your iTunes library with other Mojo users on your contact list. Because you only share music with people you have added and approved adding to their contact lists, you do not have to worry about sharing your music library with people you do not know. One of the connection technologies Mojo is based around is Jabber or XMPP. You can chat with other Mojo users by adding your Mojo account to a chat client that supports XMPP.

Instructions

1. Download Mojo from the Deusty website and double-click on the installation file to install it.

2. Launch Mojo by clicking "Start," "All Programs" and "Mojo."

3. Enter new account information when Mojo prompts you. The first time you start Mojo, it will ask you for a Mojo login and password.

4. Press the button with a plus sign on it and add a Mojo username to start sharing music.

5. Launch a chat client that supports XMPP, like Pidgin, Trillian or Spark and add your Mojo account. This process may differ depending on which chat client you use. Select XMPP from the protocol options, if the chat client supports other protocols as well. Enter your Mojo username in that field, "deusty.com" in the server field without quotation marks and enter your Mojo password in the password field.

6. Chat with your Mojo buddies using the chat client.
