Whether you're new or an experienced taster and collector of wines, there's a wine lovers' club in southern New Jersey for you. South Jersey hosts several groups of wine enthusiasts who meet on a regular basis to try new wines, discuss wines and wine paraphernalia and get to know other wine lovers in their neighborhoods.
Garden State Wine Club
The Garden State Wine Club offers several levels of membership starting at $20 a month for two bottles of wine. The wine is shipped to your home, and you also receive information about local wine classes, dinners and other events in your area. The GSWC has members from all over New Jersey, and it sends out information about local events to members in different parts of the state.
Inner Circle Wine Tasting Society
The Inner Circle Wine Tasting Society (ICWTS) holds events in southern New Jersey to educate its members about wine while raising funds for charitable organizations. Members can request that events be held in their towns or neighborhoods, or at local restaurants. Events usually consist of wine tastings, dinners with a different wine for each course and lectures on wine. Proceeds go to fight hunger in New Jersey and the region.
Tomasello Winery Club
The Tomasello Winery in southern Hammonton, New Jersey, sponsors its own wine lovers' club. Events include wine education lectures and seminars, wine and cheese tastings, and wine dinners. The winery also hosts special events like weddings and parties.
