Make Gluten Free Macaroni And Cheese

For a variety of reasons, many people have opted to try a gluten-free diet. Maybe you're battling celiac disease or a wheat allergy, or maybe you just want a healthier lifestyle. Regardless, it can be a bit overwhelming at first trying to find recipes that fit into your new meal plan. Don't worry, though: Many of your traditional favorites can be adapted into gluten-free meals. Here's how you can make a delicious and healthy macaroni and cheese dish using gluten-free pasta.

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil, and then add a splash of olive oil and the pasta. Reduce temperature to a slow boil, and cook pasta uncovered for 10 minutes. Drain pasta in a colander and rinse.

2. Use a small saucepan to heat cheese, cream and butter while the pasta is cooking. Stir mixture until all ingredients are melted.

3. Combine pasta, cheese mixture, spinach, broccoli and oregano in a lightly oiled casserole dish. Mix until blended.

4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes, or until top of macaroni begins to turn golden brown.
