Make A Southampton Mocktail

The Southampton mocktail refreshes with a sour and citrus flavor. This drink contains no alcohol so you can serve it to minors and pregnant women. Lime flavors the drink and there is no sugar, so the drink may not please everyone. The Southampton drink must be served in a cocktail glass, so dress it up a cherry, slice of lime, and a drink umbrella.

Instructions

1. Place a handful of ice into a cocktail shaker. The ice will chill the drink as it is being mixed, so it won't need to be served with much ice.

2. Pour 1/3 cup of tonic water into the cocktail shaker. This much tonic water will dilute the sourness of the lime and bitters.

3. Squeeze one half of a lime into the cocktail shaker, and add two ounces of Angostura bitters as well. The bitters contribute to the sour flavor but also adds a hint of sweetness to highlight the lime.

4. Mix in the shaker for eight seconds.

5. Pour the drink into a cocktail glass and garnish with a cherry or lime slice.

6. Add an umbrella to the top of the drink and serve.
