Make A Nonalcoholic Watermelon Margarita

No tequila? No big deal, make a non-alcoholic watermelon margarita instead. If you have the other ingredients on hand you can still enjoy that south of the border flavor. This summer treat works well frozen, or you can frost up some mugs to keep things cool. Read on to learn make a non-alcoholic watermelon margarita.


Instructions


1. De-seed a slice of watermelon. Slice the watermelon in slices about as thick as your thumb so you can easily get the seeds out of the fruit.


2. Cut limes into wedges. Set aside the wedges to use as a garnish.


3. Put four cups watermelon and four cups ice cubes to a blender.


4. Add lime juice, coarse salt and sugar to taste. Start with small equal amounts of each and sample the mixture. Once you have a specific ratio of these ingredients you like, write down the amounts.


5. Blend mixture until smooth. You can cheat a little by starting with shaved or crushed ice.


6. Pour mixture into a mug. Garnish the mug with a wedge of lemon.
