Make Baked Nacho Dip

Nacho's are a popular appetizer at any party. Here's a new way to make them that is sure to be a hit. With lots of traditional taste in a slightly new twist you will be the life of the party by adding this to the menu.


Instructions


1. Brown ground beef, rinsing and draining the fat several times if necessary. Make sure the beef has been broken into small pieces. Add ortega taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water stir. Simmer about 5 minutes. Set aside and allow to cool.


2. Combine cream cheese and yogurt, in microwave safe bowl, stirring until smooth. Add in cheddar cheese, salsa and green onions. Mix well. Cover and microwave on high (100% power) for 3 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir.


3. Add beef mixture and stir well. Set aside briefly Preheat oven to 350


4. Slice top off the bread. Pull out center to create a bowl with at least a 1 inch side thickness. Pour dip mixture into center of bread bowl. Place in dish, and into oven. Bake for about 15 minutes or until cheese mixture is bubbly. Remove from oven, let cool about 5 minutes and serve with tortilla chips.
