Cook Popcorn Balls

Plain white popcorn works best.

Popcorn balls, commonly seen around Halloween, resemble marshmallow treats made with cereal. Marshmallows hold the popcorn in a ball shape. Customize the popcorn balls by adding food coloring, candy or drizzle the ball after it's formed. For example; add orange food coloring to the mixture while you cook. Drizzle melted chocolate over the balls to make the treats look Halloween-appropriate. Make the balls any size, but make sure you can fit them in your mouth.

Instructions

1. Put the butter in the large pot. Place the pot on a stove top burner. Turn the burner to medium heat and melt the butter.

2. Add the marshmallows. Stir until the marshmallows melt. Turn off the burner.

3. Add the already prepared popcorn. Stir until the butter, marshmallows and popcorn are mixed.

4. Tear off a large sheet of wax paper and set it on a flat surface.

5. Scoop out a handful of the mixture into your hand. Roll into a ball and place on the wax paper. Repeat until all the popcorn has been used up. Let them sit for at least an hour.
