A dark chocolate martini is a seriously indulgent cocktail that you can serve after dinner as a fitting end to a decadent meal. Use chocolate with the highest percentage of cocoa you can find, as the vodka tends to mix better with higher quality chocolate. This recipe will make two dark chocolate martinis, but you can double or even triple it if you have more guests to serve. Do not make extras in advance; the quality of the drink will greatly suffer. Instructions
1. Rub the rims of the martini glasses with the orange wedges.
2. Put the grated dark chocolate on a small saucer, and dip the rims of the martini glasses in the dark chocolate.
3. Put the dark chocolate and cream in a heatproof measuring cup and microwave for one minute. Pour the melted chocolate and cream mixture into a cocktail shaker with the vodka and ice cubes. Shake vigorously for 20 to 30 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.
4. Strain the mixture into the chocolate-rimmed martini glasses. Garnish each glass with a fresh lime wedge and serve immediately.
