Install A Refrigerator Wine Holder

If you drink white wine, you know that it has to be chilled. In addition, you don't want the cork to dry out and break apart when you uncork the bottle, so you must store the wine bottle on its side. During normal use of your refrigerator, the bottle may roll around and possibly break, so the best solution is to install a refrigerator wine holder.

Instructions

1. Buy a wine holder for your refrigerator. You need rear-mounted shelves to do this. There is no hardware required.

2. Adjust the shelves to accommodate the holder. The holder hangs from the shelf above it, so you need to have enough room for the holder to hang, but still have a functional lower shelf. Perhaps storing milk and other drinks on the lower shelf is a good idea since it will provide adequate clearance.

3. Slide one end of the hanger onto the shelf. It doesn't matter if you put it on the left side or the right side, so choose whatever is most convenient for you.

4. Push the hanger all the way onto the shelf so it doesn't stick out of the front of the shelf. You don't want to take the chance of putting a bottle of wine into the holder only to bang the door against it when you close the refrigerator.

5. Insert a bottle of wine into the rack. Close the fridge and let the wine chill. Uncork and drink when ready.
