Stuff An Olive With Jalapeno

Stuffing an olive with jalapeno provides an explosive burst of heat, followed by a salty spray that cools the mouth. Here is a great jalapeno stuffed olive recipe.

Instructions

1. Go to the store and purchase a jar of large Spanish green olives. The larger the size of each olive, the easier it is to stuff. Also buy a jar of jalapenos. You will find these next to the pickles, olives and salad dressing. You may also buy fresh jalapenos for an extra hot kick.

2. Place each olive in between the pitter and squeeze. The olive pit will pop right out. Discard the pit.

3. Cut the jalapenos you purchased into small circles. If you like, you may remove the seeds to make the peppers slightly less hot. Do not rub your eyes during this process before giving your hands a good washing.

4. Place the sliced jalapeno into each pitted olive. You may use a toothpick to help expand the hole on the olive if you are having trouble.

5. Return the stuffed jalapeno olives into the olive jar. Store them in the juice to marinate the olives and place in the fridge. Your jalapeno stuffed olives will keep for 2 months.
