German Restaurants In Eastern Pennsylvania

Eastern Pennsylvania, which includes Philadelphia and Allentown, has a strong German presence. Each Labor Day weekend, Philadelphia celebrates its German heritage by hosting the Cannstater Volkfest that features German bands and traditional cuisine. The area is also home to a diverse selection of German-style restaurants. Most German restaurants in eastern Pennsylvania feature a traditional Old World menu, an extensive list of imported German wines and beers and an outdoor "beer garden" dining area.
