Cook Pork Sirloin

Cooking a delicious meal has never been easier. If you are cooking for guests that love meat, then they will love pork sirloin. It takes the simplicity of the taste, and makes it all the more savory. This pork sirloin recipe allows any chef, of any skill level, the ability to succeed.

Instructions

1. Remove the pork sirloin from packaging and rinse. No need to pat dry. The moisture that remains will allow the seasoning to stick to the meat better.

2. Season the meat with all-purpose seasoning.

3. Place the meat in the slow cooker, and add enough water to completely cover the meat.

4. Add the peeled onion.

5. Put slow cooker on desired setting, depending on when the meat will be served. Set it on “high” for faster cooking; “medium” to “low” for slower cooking. If you have plenty of time, don't rush it.

6. If cooking meat on “high” setting, cook for at least three hours before checking to see if it is ready. Meat should be tender, with little to no pink remaining in the center. If meat is being cooked on “medium” or “low” setting, then leave for an extended period of time. You can put it in four hours ahead of time or longer. A very low setting will keep it heating after it is fully done.

7. Remove pork sirloin from slow cooker. If slicing, as one would a roast, allow to sit on serving platter for fifteen minutes. If meat is to be chopped, meat can be immediately transferred to a large bowl, pan, or other suitable container.
