Make Chicken Wings

Make Chicken Wings

Chicken wings are one of the most popular appetizers. Chances are you've probably ordered this hot snack while dining at some of your favorite restaurants, but how often have you made them at home? Unfortunately, many people are either intimidated by the cooking process or simply don't know cook chicken wings. The truth is though, this snack is very easy to prepare.

Instructions

1. Cut away the tip. The tip of a chicken wing is absolutely useless. Simply find the joint where it attaches to the piece and cut away.

2. Slice the wing into two pieces. Chicken wings are always served in two pieces. To create two pieces, look for the joint and slide your knife into the groove. Move the knife carefully into the joint and apply pressure to cut into two pieces.

3. Deep fry for 10 to 15 minutes. You do not need to use flour. Chicken wings will get perfectly crisp on their own, thanks to the skin.

4. Mix sauce. The melted butter and hot sauce are all you need to create the sauce. Just remember to do this at the last minute or the sauce will separate.

5. Toss in sauce. The chicken wings will soak up the sauce and can be served right away. If you like them to be dry, follow the next step. If not, serve immediately.

6. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes. Baking for this amount of time will allow the sauce to better adhere to the chicken wings so that they are less messy.
