Clear Skin With Heavy Cream And Cod Liver Oil

Cod liver oil contains Omega-3 fatty acids which have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and maintain healthy cell membranes in the body.

Acne forms when clogged pores get infected by bacteria and subsequently produce red welts and whiteheads. Common causes of acne include hormone imbalances, stress, poor diet and poor hygiene. The best way to stave off acne is by eating a diet rich in vegetables and fresh fruit, low on dairy and red meat and by getting plenty of exercise, which keeps stress levels low. There are innumerable home remedies for acne that are much cheaper and better for skin than over-the-counter topical medications. One such remedy involves cod liver oil as it contains Omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s contain anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and maintain healthy cell membranes in the body. Cod liver oil is also rich in vitamin A which helps skin heal itself. Fresh heavy cream is a common ingredient in at-home acne treatments and also helps moisturize the skin.
